Bruce Campbell - Actor
"What a great time I had at Movie Madness. My wife Ida and I enjoyed our visit to Movie Madness and the special tour you gave us. What a fun time we had. I loved your museum of the props and costumes. You displayed each of them in a very special way. Mike, I've never seen a video store like yours. It's definitely one of the best video stores I've ever seen."
-Actor Bruce Campbell (THE EVIL DEAD, EVIL DEAD 2, ARMY OF DARKNESS, CRIMEWAVE, THE HUDSUCKER PROXY, BUBBA HO-TEP, the TV series BURN NOTICE and much more...)
Alex Cox - Director
Alex was here at Movie Madness in 2000 for an event and had this to say:
"This store is by far the best video store I've ever been to. They have mountains of movies - films you won't find anywhere else. They have a spaghetti western section that I could spend hours going through. Mike Clark You did a wonderful job putting together the greatest video store on earth. Thank you for the wonderful time we had with you at our special screening event for STRAIGHT TO HELL and 3 BUSINESS MEN."
- Alex Cox - Director (SID AND NANCY, REPO MAN, STRAIGHT TO HELL, THREE BUSINESSMEN and more...)
PJ Soles - Actress
"If Alice from Wonderland fell down the rabbit hole and landed inside Movie Madness, she would never want to go back home. It is like being in a secret vault with endless treasures of films and rare television movies and TV shows that you can't find anywhere else (at least not all in one place and organized like the Library of Congress!), and the display cases of costumes and articles from many important films are presented with such obvious tender loving care, it's like getting to peek at someone's private collection in a very public place. Movie Madness is a special gem that the people of Portland are lucky to have access to in their city. And as evidenced by the packed parking lot that I have witnessed on the occasions that I was there, they know it and enjoy it!"
- PJ Soles, Film Actress (HALLOWEEN, CARRIE, STRIPES, ROCK 'N' ROLL HIGH SCHOOL)
Robert Best - Musician
"If at the end of my life I could die and then live for an eternity at Movie Madness, I would finally have the time and inventory to watch every movie and TV program that was ever committed to film or tape. And to top it off, I wouldn't even have to stop watching to go to the bathroom! There would even be a snack counter there! If that ain't Heaven, I don't know what is!!! Thanks Mike and family!!"
- Robert "Beast" Best, founding member of the band CHEAP RODEO and Movie Madness fan
